Kasia Caldwell, LCSW

ILA Founder/ Clinical Social Work Practitioner

Kasia  graduated from the University of Utah with her Master’s degree in social work (MSW) in May 2015.  Kasia is currently licensed in the states of Nevada and Utah. Kasia is trained in and uses  many clinical modalities in her practice including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS)

  • Bounce Back (Elementary School-Based Trauma Curriculum)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT - Light Skills Based) 

  • Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Parts & Memory Therapy 

Kasia has worked as a clinical social worker in the following settings and continues to provide contract/ consultation and training services in these areas:

In addition to the traditional clinical therapeutic modalities, Kasia is also a Certified Reiki Master Teacher (RMT) in Traditional Usui Reiki and Karuna Holy Fire Reiki and provides individual healing treatments and teaches Reiki certification classes for school-based professionals, social workers, and other natural healers.

Some of Kasia’s greatest accomplishments are being a wife to her husband, Larry, and mother to her six amazing children: Maggie, Nona, Sarah, Robbie, Michael, and Sophia. She lives in Las Vegas, NV.

Ashley Kahr, CPC-I

Professional Counseling INTERN 

Ashley Kahr is a current Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Walden University. She is planning to graduate in May of 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Northern Arizona University and Master of Science in Career Counseling from Capella University.

 

Ashley is an east coast transplant having grown up in Rhode Island and has lived in Las Vegas for over 13 years. She decided to pursue a mental health counseling degree after working with youth who were in need of services and had little to no access. She is passionate about helping others and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. She plans to work with teens, young adults, and adults.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys hiking, yoga, kayaking, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family. She also serves on the board of NIMHA (Nevada Institute of Mental Health and Addictions) as Secretary.

Ashley is a certified advanced reiki practitioner and offers reiki healing sessions through in-person and distance sessions. 

Stephanie Schroy

MSW Student - Rutgers University

Stephanie Schroy is a Master of Social Work student at Rutgers University. Although her undergraduate degree is in an unrelated field, she has a long history of working with others via volunteering or in healthcare.

Stephanie became interested in the helping profession because helping others has always been one of her passions. She believes mental health is an area that can help people to heal many other aspects of their lives. Stephanie plans to work with those who are overcoming trauma.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys exploring Las Vegas and the surrounding area (she's a CA native), traveling, hiking, reading, and taking her dogs Aegon and Luna to the dog park.

Stephanie is a certified advanced reiki practitioner and offers reiki healing sessions through in-person and distance sessions. 

Christina Mason, CADC

MSW Student - WALden University

Christina Mason is a current Master in Social Work student at Walden University. She is planning on graduating in February 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. 

Christina is a Certified Substance Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC) in the state of Nevada. She has experience working in the past as a substance abuse counselor and a Safe School Professional with students in Clark County School District. 

Christina is certified as a 200hr yoga instructor and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) facilitator through Breathe for Change. 

Christina enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children. She also enjoys taking care of their small farm animals and beekeeping.
